Joan Garvin is a photographer trained at the International Center of Photography in New York City. She is an award winner in American Society of Media Photographers' Image 08 and Image 11, as well as Fotoweek DC, all international, juried competitions. Her work has been exhibited at the National Arts Club in New York City. Joan was a photographer for Friends of The High Line from 2009 to 2015. Her photographs of the park are featured in the following:
